The VAT Domestic Reverse Charge (DRC) was introduced by HMRC on 1 March 2021 to help tackle VAT fraud in the construction industry. Exciting? Not exactly. Important? Absolutely.

If you are due to make a 2nd payment on account for 2025/26 this must be paid by 31 July 2026.

Payments on account are estimates only and we therefore recommend that you file your 2025/26 tax return as soon as possible and well before the final deadline of 31 January 2027.
