🚨 Important update for UK company directors and PSCs 🚨
From 18 November 2025, Companies House will introduce mandatory identity verification for all company directors and people with significant control (PSCs).
✅ What you need to know:
Every director and PSC must verify their identity by their due date.
You’ll need to obtain your Companies House personal code once verified.
This code must then be included when filing your confirmation statement – otherwise, your filing will be rejected.
Companies and directors who don’t comply could face enforcement action, including fines or prosecution.
You can verify your identity either:
1️⃣ Through the official Companies House “Verify your identity” service using GOV.UK One Login, or
2️⃣ Via an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) – such as your accountant or solicitor – who can complete the process for you.
This change is part of the UK government’s wider reforms to tackle economic crime and make the business register more secure and transparent.

What an experience!
CityTrust took the challenge of running the 15k Tough Mudder UK obstacle course.
What a surprise it was from starting off being really excited to then having that excitement eventually wear off after we all saw the size of the hills we were having to run up and the mud we were having to crawl through😂
From start to finish we got each other through the running, obstacles and just the harder times throughout the whole 15k.
Great team effort.
