🌿 Ake Ake Ake – A Forever Language 🌿

This Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, we're celebrating the enduring strength, beauty, and importance of te reo Māori.

This year's theme,"Ake Ake Ake – A Forever Language", encourages all of us to use, hear, learn, and embrace te reo Māori every day, helping to ensure it thrives for generations to come.

We're especially proud to be based in Ahuriri, a place with a rich history and a name deeply connected to te ao Māori. We're reminded that language helps connect us to place, people, and identity.

Want to learn more about the meaning and pronunciation of Ahuriri? Check out the entry in the Te Aka Māori Dictionary:

Providing gifts or vouchers to your staff is a great gesture, but make sure you keep an eye on the 'de minimis' exemption limits. These unclassified benefits are usually exempt from Fringe Benefit Tax if they don't exceed $300 per employee per quarter or $22,500 total for the year. Keeping accurate records of these small perks is the best way to avoid unnecessary tax costs. Was this tip helpful for your business planning?
