With a deep knowledge of both emerging and established Canadian talent, Meagan has built a reputation as a trusted industry resource, known for her expertise in talent curation, artist consulting, and fostering meaningful connections within the music community.

Over the past year and a half, Meag has become an integral part of the VOX team. She quickly stepped into the agent role, handling talent bookings and securing artists for major national events across the East Coast.

Meag’s energy, authenticity, and enthusiasm make her a natural fit for the team. Her passion for the live music industry shines through in everything she does, from championing artist development to building her own professional brand and contributing to the growth of the Canadian music ecosystem.

In this episode, Meag shares her career journey and the many ways she supports the industry. In addition to her work with VOX, she is an artist manager and co-owner of the independent label Tiny Kingdom Music, based on Canada’s West Coast, which she operates alongside her business partner and close friend. His commitment to community extends far beyond the stage. Rankin invests deeply in the people around him, building spaces where both performers and audiences feel welcome. Best known for his Rankin Winter Warmers, a sold-out weekly winter concert series, he has created a beloved gathering place that brings people from all walks of life together during the coldest months of the year.

Looking ahead, Rankin continues to build momentum both as a performer and community leader. With new music on the way, including a forthcoming record and a collection of singles set to start releasing this summer.

She works closely with clients to understand their goals, elevate their ideas, and execute every detail with precision. Known for “sweating the small stuff,” Stephanie is hands-on from concept to curtain call, ensuring each event delivers the right atmosphere and lasting impact.

Her expertise spans the exclusive VOX talent roster, nationally recognized personalities, and internationally acclaimed performers. Over the years, Stephanie has played a key role in developing careers and building strong relationships with notable talent such as Peace by Chocolate founder Tareq Hadhad, acclaimed songwriter Dave Sampson, Halifax favourites The Mellotones, CBC host of The Debaters Steve Patterson, and Maritime icon Steve Murphy. She has also secured internationally renowned stars, including Michael Bublé, Hasan Minhaj, and k.d. lang.

Beyond booking talent, Stephanie is a respected leader in the live events community. She has held executive volunteer roles with music festivals and major live events across Atlantic Canada. She continues to make an impact as the producer of the beloved Big Shiny Tunes at The Marquee, creates Kitchen Party experiences for clients’ large-scale events, and contributes to partnership development for Peace by Chocolate. She also hosts her own podcast, VOX Talk.

With over 15 years of experience across live event production, festival operations, and artist relations, Danielle Lemieux is a seasoned Director of Live Events. She has built her career in fast-paced environments, guiding major productions where strategic planning meets real-time problem solving and bringing a steady hand, sharp instincts, and deep respect for both the artist and audience experience. She thrives at the intersection of thoughtful preparation and the unpredictable energy of live production.

Danielle has worked extensively with clients to negotiate talent buying as well as directly with artists and their teams to orchestrate seamless event operations across diverse venues and markets. She has vast experience advancing shows, managing backstages and venue operations and resolving real-time artist and guest need. Her goal is ensuring all on-site elements align to support successful outcomes of an event. For her, operational excellence is inseparable from hospitality.

An organizational powerhouse, Danielle excels at aligning the many moving parts behind the scenes. Her experience spans production schedules, staffing plans, budgets, suppliers, and on-site ex*****on - ensuring production success . She is highly skilled at aligning people, processes, and resources to execute efficiently without compromising experience or quality.
