The Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services (ZIBFS) is developing its 2027–2029 Strategic Plan, and we are inviting our valued stakeholders to contribute their perspectives, experiences and expectations.

As the financial services sector continues to evolve, your insight is important in helping ZIBFS ensure that its programmes, professional development initiatives, membership services, digital learning, industry partnerships and knowledge platforms remain relevant to the needs of the sector.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU MESSAGE FROM ZIBFS CEO, MRS. VICTORIA CHANDA MUMBA.

I feel truly honoured and deeply grateful to have hosted yet another Annual Banking Conference and Awards Gala, alongside my colleague Mr. Leonard Mwanza, CEO of the Bankers Association of Zambia.

Over the years, under the governance oversight of our ZIBFS Council and BAZ Board, we have watched this platform grow in both size and impact, and every edition reminds me of what is possible when an industry comes together with a shared purpose. It is more than just an annual gathering. It is a meeting of great minds, including industry leaders, professionals, stakeholders and partners, coming together to exchange ideas, challenge one another and think about the future of our sector.

The Conference and Awards Gala, hosted by the Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services (ZIBFS) and the Bankers Association of Zambia (BAZ), has become an important platform for conversations that matter for our sector. Seeing it grow year after year gives me immense pride, but also a deep sense of gratitude.
