Take the story of John, a young man I once met in the village. John used to polish shoes at the bus station. Every day he’d show up with his small box, brush, and tin of polish. While others mocked him, he kept working quietly. One day, a man in a suit stopped to get his shoes polished. Impressed by John’s respect and diligence, that man offered him a chance to work as a cleaner at his office.
Years later, that same boy, John, became a branch manager for that company.
That’s what humble beginnings do they prepare you for the climb.
Never despise small jobs. Some of the most successful entrepreneurs today started with nothing but willpower and prayer. The charcoal pit is different for everyone for one, it may be a farm, for another, a market stall, or a welding stand by the roadside. But the principle is the same: before you rise, you must learn to work in the dark.
The front side of success is the ability to set clear goals.
what is the difference between being broke and being poor?
Poverty is manufactured in bed.
