Who is hard working, detailed orientated and tech savvy?
We are looking for an accountant who will be responsible for:
* Manage bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of clients, including SMEs, entrepreneurs, and cross-border clients
* Perform bookkeeping, payroll, VAT submissions, and reconciliations
* Perform and be knowledgeable on tax calculations for trusts, individuals & companies
* Gain exposure to cross-border transactions and high-net-worth individuals
* Contribute to process improvements and leverage cloud accounting tools (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft 365)
* Compile annual financial statements on Draftworx
* Manage SARS e-filing & follow up on matters via call centre.
The role is in office (in Stellenbosch) with 1 day working from home.
Salary (R20k - R25k)
