Accountants make you feel that the only value you have to them, is how much they can charge you. You only see your accountant in tax season, or even worse, all in one go on annual financial season. You get charged random fees that you aren’t really sure what it is for. And then the actual time you are afforded is always rushed creating a sense that the accountant needs to move on to the next client to make more money. Lack of communication
Follow up is more often than not left to the client and not the other way around. When a client requests a report, the accountant often relies on information from the clients’ staff. The excuse for non delivery is always the same, “we are waiting on x…” Outstanding matters aren’t as important to the accountant as it is to the client!
