🌸 Happy Women’s Day 🌸
Today, we celebrate women—not only for what we accomplish, but for who we are, what we overcome, and the difference we make in the lives of others.
We celebrate the woman who leads in the boardroom, the woman building a business from her kitchen table, the mother raising a family, the young woman finding her voice, and the woman quietly supporting everyone around her while navigating her own challenges.
May we never underestimate the power of a woman who believes in herself.
Women carry stories of courage, resilience, sacrifice, wisdom, and hope. Yet, our greatest strength is not simply in how much we can carry—it is in our ability to rise, grow, inspire, and create opportunities for those who come after us.
Today, let us celebrate one another without comparison. Let us open doors, share knowledge, mentor, encourage, collaborate, and create spaces where every woman can thrive.
To every woman reading this: your voice matters, your dreams matter, your journey matters, and your presence matters.
May you continue to walk boldly in your purpose, embrace your worth, and leave a legacy that extends far beyond yourself.
Here’s to women who rise—and lift others as they rise. 🥂
Happy Women’s Day! ❤️ Purpose

Wow, what a time to be alive. It's finally on the airwaves that IWCP is a National Distribution Partner. What an incredible journey it has been. When you start a business and become an entrepreneur, no-one tells you about the early mornings, the late nights, the gruelling conversations with staff, the disappointments whilst you need to stay brave while looking at an unhappy bank balance. Entrepreneurship has been an interesting journey that has stretched me, developed me and challenged my beliefs. It has given me a new found respect for anyone with a business and who is making a difference to their clients. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a world changer and to impact lives through business. I thank God for being part of this monumentous occasion that is an opportunity of a lifetime. To our advisers, thank you. To our staff members, thank you. To our leadership team, thank you. To my family, thank you. To our clients, thank you. To my business partner Oosthuisen, thank you for being an incredible visionary. Thank you for supporting us in our journey and for helping us to make history 😁. To many more achievements 🥂

As a Certified Financial Planner® I'm excited about few changes in the budget speech this year. I often remind clients that tax is not just an annual administrative event — it is one of the most significant determinants of long-term wealth creation and preservation. Understanding the key taxes that affect individuals is fundamental to sound financial planning.
1. No Broad-Based Tax Increases for Individuals
Government withdrew a previously planned R20 billion worth of tax increases, largely due to stronger-than-expected revenue collections by SARS. This means no increase in personal income tax rates or VAT for the coming fiscal year — a relief for most taxpayers.
2. Inflationary Adjustment to Personal Tax Tables
For the first time in two years, personal income tax brackets, rebates and thresholds will be adjusted fully for inflation. This adjustment combats bracket creep, where inflation pushes taxpayers into higher tax brackets even if real income hasn’t increased — effectively preserving disposable income.
3. Increased Medical Tax Credits
Medical scheme tax credits, which directly reduce your tax liability, were also increased in line with inflation after being stagnant for several years. This offers modest but meaningful relief, especially for families and retirees.
4. Incentives to Save and Invest
To encourage greater household savings and retirement planning:
The annual tax-free savings (TFSA) contribution limit increases from R36 000 to R46 000. The retirement fund deduction limit rises from R350 000 to R430 000 — allowing more tax-deductible contributions each year. These measures extend your ability to build long-term, tax-efficient wealth.
5. Capital Gains and Small Business Relief (Indirect Benefits for Individuals)
While not solely personal tax rates, capital gains tax exemptions for small business disposals and donations were increased — which can benefit individual owners and their estate planning. The exclusion on capital gains or losses on the disposal of a primary residence has been increased from R2 million to R3 million. The annual exclusion on capital gains or losses for income tax purposes has also been increased to R50 000 while th

During National Wills Week, have you thought about whether your will is up to date? A valid will is more than a document, it’s a safeguard for your loved ones and a way to ensure your legacy is honoured.
I listened to a recent interview on the radio and the Master of the High Court commented that less than 15% of all the estates that get finalised have a will. This is a massive wake up call to make sure your affairs are in order. Let me assist you, so that your loved ones enjoy your legacy.
Take this opportunity to protect your family’s future and bring peace of mind today. Comment "Me Too" if you would like to join the revolution of getting your will done.
