If your business imports or exports goods, there are important updates from SARS that you should be aware of.

The *Goods Declaration Policy and related annexures have been updated* to align with amended requirements under Sections 39 and 101A and to clarify specific declaration requirements.

📌 *Electronic invoice data and worksheet requirements* have been incorporated into the goods declaration documents.

📌 SARS has published completion guides for the legislated Customs Declarations:
*SAD 502 | SAD 505 | SAD 509*

📌 The *declaration-based provisional payment requirements* have been removed from the Goods Declaration Policy, as these requirements are now contained in the relevant provisional payment documents.
