Tax obligation of the deceased taxpayer

Did you know that income tax returns for a deceased person for the last year of assessment up to the date of death must be filed?

The Executor (appointed representative taxpayer of the deceased person) is responsible to file the deceased's outstanding returns for income earned up until the date of death.
