Your heart works hard for you every single day... beating over 100,000 times without asking for anything in return. ❤️

This Heart Awareness Month, take a moment to appreciate the organ that keeps you going through every meeting, workout, family moment, and life milestone.

Small habits can make a big difference:
✅ Go for a walk
✅ Choose water more often
✅ Manage stress where you can
✅ Get enough sleep

Looking after your heart isn't about being perfect. It's about making better choices, one day at a time. Protect yourself and provide a healthy future.

A healthy heart journey starts long before adulthood. ❤️

As parents and caregivers, the habits we help children build today can shape their health for years to come. Small changes like more active play, balanced meals, and less screen time can make a meaningful difference.

This Heart Awareness Month, let's focus on progress, not perfection. Every healthier choice is a step towards a stronger future.

We all say it: "I don't have time."
But Ziphozihle Mabindla-Mlisa offers us a powerful reminder: We make time for what matters.

For her, wealth is health so that she can be fully present for the people she loves. The ones who love her. The ones who support her and show up for her.

Money matters. But people matter more.

Ladies, here’s how you can help the men in your life take care of their health 💙

As the CEOs of the household, we know it’s not always easy to get them to book that check-up — but Nandi Gusha has got you covered!

Here’s how to lead the way to healthier living:

1.Make the appointment. Men need regular check-ups just like women to detect and prevent health problems. Book a lunch date as a post check-up reward.

2.Plan to exercise together. Many health conditions, such as colon cancer, can be prevented by regular exercise. Go for a walk, or play a game of tennis over the weekend. Also, guys are very much into their gadgets apps and tech. There are a number of men’s health apps available today to help the man in your life to live healthier.

3.Tweak your diet. Whether the goal is to lose weight or to gain muscle; a healthy diet is the way to go. Incorporate more fruit and veg, lean proteins like fish or chicken, high-fibre foods like beans and legumes, oats and avocado, and wholegrains like brown rice and pasta, whole wheat bread and quinoa.

4.Encourage him to stop smoking. Smoking is linked to heart disease, lung disease, cancer and strokes.

5.Find ways to eliminate stress. Balance work with downtime or a fun hobby.

Talk to your partner about health related articles you come across; ask him to make sure that he’s around for a long time.

🚻 MOMS - YOU NEED TO HAVE A WILL.
HERE'S WHY:

📜📜📜📜📜

Having a will is not a luxury of the wealthy; in fact, one could argue that middle income earners require the protection of a will more so than their wealthy counterparts.

Should you die without a valid will in place; the winding up of your estate will follow the requirements set in the Intestate Succession Act, thus disregarding any wishes that you may have had regarding the disbursement of your wealth.

📜📜📜📜📜
What about kids?

Should your heirs be minors, their inheritance will be placed in The Guardians fund to be managed by the state until they are 18 years of age. The surviving spouse may end up receiving a much-reduced share of the inheritance.

📜📜📜📜📜
Did you know...

After all assets are sold, there is a possibility that the surviving spouse may not have sufficient funds to provide for the basic necessities of the household.

Make sure you have the final say, draft a will!
