A well-established and growing professional services firm is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Experienced Bookkeeper. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, self-starting individual to join a dynamic team servicing a diverse portfolio of clients.

📋 Key Responsibilities
▪️Record daily transactions, cashbooks, and customer/supplier accounts
▪️Complete monthly bank, credit card, EFT, and inter-company ledger reconciliations
▪️Prepare and submit monthly VAT, EMP201, and annual EMP501 returns via SARS eFiling
▪️Process monthly payroll, including SARS PAYE, UIF, and WCA compliance
▪️Generate monthly reports for management review
▪️Maintain and update the entity's fixed asset register
▪️Manage processing for a diverse client portfolio up to Trial Balance

🎓Minimum Requirements
▪️Grade 12 Certificate with Accountancy passed; a tertiary financial qualification will be an added advantage
▪️Minimum 3–5 years' relevant bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably within an audit or professional services firm
▪️Strong proficiency in Sage Pastel, Xero, cloud accounting software, and advanced MS Excel
▪️Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
▪️High level of accuracy and attention to detail
▪️Strong organisational and time management skills
▪️Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
