We were honoured to sponsor the AWCA UKZN Westville Student Chapter – Art of Becoming event, an inspiring platform focused on the growth, development and empowerment of young women to step confidently into their futures and become the professionals they aspire to be.

The event created an opportunity for students to connect, gain valuable insights, build confidence and reflect on the exciting journey ahead.

At Morar Incorporated, we are committed to investing in the next generation of women in the profession by supporting opportunities that foster mentorship, personal growth and purposeful career development.

Happy World Literacy Day📚

Under this year’s global theme, “Literacy for People, the Planet and Prosperity,” we are reminded that true literacy extends far beyond the ability to read and write. It is the power to understand, make informed decisions, create opportunities, and build sustainable futures.

At Morar Incorporated, we believe financial literacy is an essential part of that journey. Through our Project R1 initiative, we are helping young people build the knowledge and habits they need to understand money, make informed financial choices, and plan for prosperous futures.

✨ Celebrating every step of the journey ✨

Our CEO Jennifer Reddy had the honour of being the guest speaker at Oceanview Primary School's Mini Debs and Prom at the Umhlatuzana Civic Hall.

It was a special evening celebrating both the Grade R learners taking their first steps in their schooling journey and the Grade 7s preparing for their next chapter.
Jennifer shared words of encouragement with the learners and was delighted to present gifts to the Mini Debs and Prom King and Queen.
Thank you to Principal Mrs Moodley, the Oceanview Primary School community and Denver Naicker from The Get Real Talk Show for a memorable evening.
Congratulations to all the young stars, keep dreaming, keep shining and never stop reaching for excellence! 🌟

The journey with Project R1 continues, and today we took the conversation to Lenarea Secondary School in Phoenix. ✨

What made this day even more special was knowing that the school had waited three years for this initiative to reach its learners. To finally be there, engaging with 159 Grade 10 learners, made the moment incredibly meaningful.

Together with School of Savings South Africa, we explored the psychology of money and the importance of developing positive financial habits from an early age.

The energy in the room was infectious, but what truly stood out was hearing learners openly share their aspirations, dreams and visions for the future. There were moments of laughter, excitement and genuine emotion as they spoke about how Project R1 has helped them realise that their circumstances do not have to define their future.

Importantly, the financial literacy skills introduced through Project R1 will form part of their educational journey from grade 10 to matric, ensuring that these lessons extend beyond a single day and become part of their ongoing educational journey.

At Morar Incorporated, we believe Project R1 is about more than knowing how to save. It is about giving young people the tools to make informed decisions, changing their mindsets and helping them take meaningful steps towards a better financial future.

🎥 Here’s a glimpse of an incredibly special day. Stay tuned for more!

Big dreams can start with something as small as R1. ✨

At Eastbury Secondary School in Phoenix, 108 Grade 10 learners took their first steps towards building stronger financial futures through Project R1.

Today we launched the initiative, alongside School of Savings South Africa, that is investing in the next generation by giving young people the knowledge, confidence and tools to develop positive financial habits from an early age.

From powerful practical lessons on saving and financial discipline to inspiring words from our CEO, Jennifer Reddy, it was a day about dreaming bigger, starting small and believing in what’s possible.

Because R1 is more than a coin. It’s a beginning.

🎥 Here’s a glimpse of the day. Watch the full story unfold.
