Why Gap Cover?
Unexpected medical expenses can leave you facing a significant financial burden—especially when specialists and doctors charge well above medical aid rates for in-hospital and certain out-of-hospital procedures.
This is where Gap Cover becomes essential.
Gap Cover is designed to bridge the gap between what your medical aid pays and what private practitioners actually charge and differences that can run into tens or even hundreds of thousands of rands, for which you are personally liable.
Real shortfall claims paid in 2024/2025 include:
• Natural Childbirth: R38,480
• Caesarean Section: R47,535
• Knee Replacement: R98,173
• Hip Replacement: R205,490
• Fractured Arm Surgery: R53,663
• Heart Surgery: R156,496
•
Without Gap Cover, these costs come straight out of your pocket.
I can assist you with individual or family Gap Cover options, including:
• No overall maximum entry age
• Highly competitive premiums for individuals under age 42
• Available to all members of registered South African medical aids
• Cover that continues with no maximum expiry age
Important: Gap Cover is not a medical aid and does not replace medical aid membership. It is designed to work alongside your medical aid to protect you from costly shortfalls.
Let’s have a conversation about how to protect you and your family from unexpected medical expenses.

Your greatest asset is NOT your house.
It is NOT your car.
It is NOT even your family.
Your greatest asset is your ability to earn an income.
Now read that last line again.
Your income pays the bills.
It puts food on the table.
It keeps a roof over your family’s heads and funds your future.
But what would happen if illness, disability, or a life-changing event suddenly took that ability away?
Protecting your income should be your top financial priority.
Let’s have a conversation about Income Protection and Disability Cover and how to safeguard the asset that makes everything else possible.
Give me a call and let’s make sure you are properly protected — before it’s too late!

Have you provided for your families?
Hereford - The brand you need or all your financial planning needs.
I cannot stress the importance of having a valid Will.
Too many South Africans die intestate which then leaves the Master Of The Court, to appoint an Executor to wind up your Estate.
A valid signed Will ensures that your assets are distributed according to your express wishes.
Without one, intestate succession will apply and this means that your assets will be divided according to a rigid legal formula and one which probably won't align with your wishes. This generally causes financial distress for your loved ones and family disputes.
A Will allows you to appoint the Executor of your choice, nominate guardians for minor children and to protect them through Testamentary Trusts and to nominate beneficiaries for the residue of your Estate
It specifies exactly who inherits your property, money, and personal possessions and also documents your funeral preferences and your choice of cremation or burial.
It is also vitally important to review your Will annually and update if necessary. This process this must form an integral part of your overall financial planning.
Unless you can predict when you will die or have a life changing event, you need totTalk to me about your Will and financial planning needs.
