WE’RE HIRING | JUNIOR FINANCIAL CLERK
Prosperity Accounting & Bookkeeping Solutions is looking for a motivated individual to join our growing accounting practice in an entry-level Financial Clerk role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent school leaver who took Accounting at school and would like to start building a career in the accounting and financial services environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with our accountants and receive practical, hands-on exposure and guidance as their skills develop.
Key responsibilities will initially include:
• CIPC administration and compliance
• Beneficial Ownership (BO) submissions
• CIPC Annual Returns
• Basic bookkeeping and recordkeeping for non-VAT registered companies
• Capturing and maintaining accounting records on Sage
• Maintaining client compliance records and supporting documentation
• General support to the accounting team
As experience and competence develop, the role will gradually expand to include broader bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has completed Matric, preferably with Accounting as a subject
• Has a genuine interest in accounting and finance
• Is comfortable working with numbers and computer systems
• Has good attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work
• Is organised, reliable and willing to learn
• Is willing to take responsibility and grow with the role
Previous accounting work experience is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right aptitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.
Training and guidance will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone wanting to gain practical experience and build a strong foundation for a future career in accounting.

Preference may be given to applicants residing in the Kempton Park / Benoni and surrounding areas.
