• Professionele kliëntediens
• Kennis van UIF-verklarings

SARS scam messages are becoming more convincing.

Fraudsters are using AI to create professional-looking emails and messages that closely resemble official SARS correspondence. A message can look legitimate and still be fraudulent.

Before clicking a link, making a payment or sharing personal information:

✓ Check whether the notice appears on your SARS eFiling profile
✓ Confirm that your name, business name and tax reference number are correct
✓ Only use official SARS communication channels
✓ Never share passwords, OTPs, banking PINs or eFiling login details
✓ Do not pay into an unfamiliar or personal bank account

SARS has warned taxpayers that it will not request passwords, OTPs, banking PINs or eFiling login details through email, SMS, social media or telephone.

When something feels suspicious, pause and verify it before taking action.
