2022 Tax Filing Season | South African Revenue Service
The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has made significant changes to the 2022 Tax Filing Season. This year, over 3 million individual non-provisional taxpayers, have been auto-assessed by SARS and will not have to file a tax return if they are satisfied with the outcome.

EMPLOYER ANNUAL RECONCILIATION SUBMISSION
The Annual Reconciliation Declaration (EMP501) submission period is open from 1 April - 31 May. Employers must submit their annual reconciliation declarations for the tax year that started on 1 March 2021 & ended on 28 February 2022, using e@syFile™ or SARS eFiling.
