SARS Grants Extension for EMP201 Filing & Payment
Dear valued clients and partners,
We’d like to bring to your attention an important development from SARS:
🗓 On 8 July 2025, the SARS Commissioner announced a one-time extension for the submission and payment of the monthly EMP201 (PAYE / UIF / SDL) returns, originally due by 7 July. The new deadline is Monday, 14 July 2025 .

This relief comes in response to unexpected system delays. SARS has confirmed it will not impose penalties or interest for EMP201 submissions and payments made on or before the extended deadline, provided you were otherwise compliant.

-Immediate opportunity to finalize and submit any delayed EMP201 returns.
-Avoidance of penalties that would typically apply after the due date.
-Crucial to ensure file & payment are completed through eFiling or e@syFile™ by 14 July 2025.
