Today we celebrate National Women’s Day in South Africa.

It is a day to honour the courage, contribution and leadership of women across our country, in our homes, communities, workplaces and businesses.

At Outsourced CFO, we are proud to work alongside women who bring skill, insight, care and ambition to the work they do every day. From finance and operations to leadership and entrepreneurship, women continue to play a vital role in building stronger businesses and stronger teams.

This Mandela Day, our team came together to support The Haven Night Shelter in Green Point through their Buy a Bed Campaign.

Together, we raised R10,200.

Through the campaign, R75 sponsors one person with a bed for five nights, offering warmth, safety and dignity during Cape Town’s cold and rainy winter. That means this contribution will help provide 136 bed sponsorships for people who need a safe place to sleep.

Mandela Day is a reminder that meaningful impact often starts with simple acts of kindness. For us, this initiative was an opportunity to come together as a team and support something very practical: a bed, a warm night and a step towards rebuilding.

This month is not only about celebration. It is also a reminder to keep creating environments where women have the opportunity, support and confidence to grow.
