degree at UCT (1984 to 1987) majoring in Accounting and Economics. Thereafter I worked in the Advertising and Media industries in Johannesburg and Cape Town, ending my media and marketing career at Independent Newspapers in Cape Town as the Marketing Manager. I changed direction and chose to study again in order to pursue a career in astrology. I graduated from Rod Suskin’s School of Astrology in 2007 completing the Diploma in Astrology with distinction. Rod Suskin is South Africa’s most well known astrologer. His course is internationally recognized as an outstanding and complete training for professional astrologers. I loved studying astrology as a mature student and continue to do so. I gained huge insight into my own life and have developed a tremendous sense of acceptance with regards certain aspects of my life that were challenging at a point in time. Life presents us with challenges at certain times and it is very empowering to understand the process at play within the confines of the karma of the chart. I analyse charts according to traditional astrological techniques but make sure that I communicate the information to my clients in layman’s terms.

Pluto stations today and moves direct again. This is a journey inwards. Pluto has been retrograde since early May. Over this period how have you evolved and transformed? What are you ready to discard? What no longer serves you positively? Pluto always indicates a journey of transformation - surrendering to things beyond your control.

Pluto is conjunct the fixed Altair - time to explore and be bold.

Pluto is square Venus which is still retrograde. What needs to change in your relationship? What about financial issues? How do these impact your relationship? It’s very important at this time to work out what truly matters in your life. Explore your values. What needs to change?

Progress might still be slow as Saturn, Neptune and Uranus are all still retrograde. Focus on the planning, the sacrifices necessary and the opportunities. Ukrainian drones targeted the critical cloud and AI hubs of Russian tech giant Yandex between 7 and 11 October 2026. What was fascinating about these strikes was the widespread agreement that bot attacks on various platforms plummeted post these attacks on Yandex.

Here we see the powerful opposition between Mars and Pluto which indicates war and destruction. Mars rules both Saturn and Neptune in Aries and this is a war against corruption, lies and misinformation. The signature of this time also includes Uranus in Gemini - new ways of spreading misinformation and propaganda and how these fuel conflicts.

The symbolism emphasises the importance of accountability and the recognition that every action carries consequences. It is a reminder that personal freedom is strengthened when guided by integrity and respect for others. It also highlights the importance of fairness and justice.

Zuma’s birth time is unknown hence this is not a timed chart. But what we can see are important generational transits for someone his age - 84 years.

Pluto opposite Pluto has been ongoing since March 2025 and concludes in Dec 2026. Pluto is always associated with loss and letting go. A time of profound change.

Uranus conjunct Saturn (July 2024 to May 2025) and Uranus Return (May 2025 to March 2026). Endings and beginnings.

A laboratory technician at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Research Institute in Siberia, died in early October 2026 from an unconfirmed illness. Russia is claiming that she died of “pneumonia of an unknown/undetermined origin". The WHO wants Russia to share transparent data.

Bacteria and viruses are ruled by Pluto in a tense opposition to Mars indicative of infectious disease. With aspects of Uranus and Neptune to Pluto this indicates that a rapid change in the situation is likely and Neptune adds to the lack of clarity and speculation. Sun opposition to Neptune indicates decreased vitality with a compromised immune system. But it could also speak about leadership that is economical with the truth. Dramatic emergency on the Israel bound Flydubai flight which departed Dubai at 07:05 local time.

The Copilot (Omani) stabbed the Captain (Indian) about an hour or two into the fight. The Captain heroically fought back, managed to open the cockpit door and passengers came to assist after the plane plummeted in attitude. The aeroplane landed safely in Tabuk in Saudi Arabia with no loss of life.

This is a very intense Full Moon - 26 September - as it is angular in this chart on the Asc.

How do you feel about yourself? Are your emotional needs being met? How is this connected to your sense of identity in your relationship? There is a great deal of tension – self and relationship. There are aspects of your relationship that are not working for you. Do you feel valued and worthy? Do you feel loved? Are your emotional needs being met? What is changing for you and your partner? How is this connected to your roles/responsibilities in the world and your status associated with your relationship? What needs to change for you? It is as if the veil is being lifted – what is emerging? What are you seeing that you didn’t want to see? How have you being deceiving yourself? What sacrifices have you made to be in this relationship? Is it worth it? What needs to transmute/transform for you personally? Do you feel like the victim in this relationship? Is it possible to take yourself on a healing journey? Can you take responsibility for your own transformation? What if through healing you no longer see yourself as a victim? How does that change what you see for yourself?

Mars is the ruler of the Full Moon in Aries. It is in the final degree of Cancer in the 4th house of home and family. What needs to change for you when you consider your own needs within your home/family? Do you feel safe and protected? Are you able to protect your family? Where do you want your energy directed?

Mars Pluto opposition – this is always an explosive signature. Power and force used for good or evil?

Mars and Pluto were conjunct on 28 Jan 2026 shortly after US seized leader of Venezuela and before Israel and US hit Iran.

These planets will be in opposition on 3 Oct 2026. Things remain tense globally.

Trump and Netanyahu both have Mars at 26 Leo and this Mars will shortly receive a transit from both Mars and Jupiter. Mars Return from Nov 2026 to May 2027. Jupiter conjunction to Mars between Dec 2026 and July 2027. This is a very energising situation. Where will they direct their actions? Mars is associated with the war and aggression. Jupiter magnifies what it touches.
