Susan van der Valk represented MGI Worldwide at the Forum of Firms meeting held in South Africa, only the second time the event has been hosted in the country.

The Forum of Firms aims to contribute to the advancement of audit quality in the public interest. The programme included global updates, insights from South African regulatory and professional bodies IRBA and SAICA, and a number of fireside discussions.

Trust emerged as a strong theme throughout the day, together with the growing impact of technology on the audit profession and the way firms operate.

The event also provided a valuable opportunity to engage and connect with representatives from firms across South Africa. Susan was pleased to connect with Patrick from MGI RAS, providing a strong MGI Worldwide presence at the event.
