So Sharon posted a piece this morning on how well Safair had handled our recent flights too and from Johannesburg last week.
Late this afternoon I received a call from a competitor of Safair - asking if LTP might be interested in providing some advice on influencing perceptions of customer service.
I politely declined - due to my current workload (and health situation).

So instant and so vast - but yet quite specific at times.

Old as in history - not age!
Had to explain that I am deeply involved in my second life as a potential hotelier....
Still - flatteringly (sp) - she insists.
Lots of midnight oil to burn.
But great fun nonetheless.....

Just a bit concerned about leaving the Willets and Whytes projects for a week.....

So after a one and a half hour fairly intense Zoom interview/call yesterday....
A very short mail today.
LTP retained to assist in developing a propery brand for an nternational resort - scheduled for completion 2026.
Hope I am still alive to witness the opening!

So it has been a bit quieter on the new business/project front recently. So much so that I even agreed to help Paul Bannister on the Simon's Town project!
Then came COVID...
In the last week I have been approached by no less than three international blue chip companies!
Primarily to assist them with their Post COVID-19 Communication Strategies....
But this may or may not lead on to a more permanent assignment.
Seems that in times of crises, Clients put some store on the thoughts of us old farts....
Thus disproving the adage that the early bird always gets the worm..
Just saying!

And it is a wrap.
