Hello there entrepreneurs 👋 I'm Nicole Owen, the founder and dedicated accountant at Owen Accounting and Tax
I am a Chartered Global Management Accountant registered with CIMA and a Registered Tax Practitioner.
I am a born a bred Capetonion with a sense of adventure in my bones. I love the warm climate, cold seas, beautiful mountain and amazing cosmopolitan culture that Cape Town offers and that's why I call it home and always will.
My accounting journey started in 2014 at a medium sized private practice in Claremont where I had the pleasure of balancing the books for many small to medium sized enterprises in different industries.
In 2018, I embarked on the adventure of a lifetime and moved to London to pursue my dream of working in a large corporate firm listed on the London Stock Exchange. I was made for corporate life. Heels, pencil skirts, wool coats, sky scraping offices with an innate work ethic that was the perfect fit for a successful accounting career.
2021 saw us moving back to our beloved Cape Town to settle down with our daughter and son.
In 2023, I made the bold move to open up my own accounting practice with the vision of mastering both sides of what I value in life: raising brave, kind and barefoot children and providing an impeccable professional service to fellow entrepreneurs in South Africa.
