Hey, hi, September tax reminders are HEREEEE!
Here’s what South African business owners should have on their radar this month ↓
Employers: Keep your monthly PAYE, UIF and SDL obligations up to date.
VAT vendors: Make sure your VAT returns and payments are submitted by the applicable deadline for your VAT period.
Provisional taxpayers: If you have a February year-end, September is an important time to review whether a third/top-up provisional tax payment may be needed.
Business owners: Now is also a good time to make sure your bookkeeping and supporting documents are actually up to date — not sitting in a folder waiting for year-end. 👀
Basically, September is a good month to make sure there are no SARS surprises hiding in your books!
