Tax Season 2026: Important Filing Deadlines
SARS has published the official submission deadlines for the 2026 tax season. Taxpayers are encouraged to prepare early and ensure that all supporting documents are ready before filing.
The key deadlines are:

✅ Non-Provisional Individual Taxpayers
Submit on or before 23 October 2026
✅ Provisional Individual Taxpayers
Submit on or before 22 January 2027
✅ Trusts
Submit on or before 22 January 2027
✅ Companies
Submit within 12 months after the company’s financial year-end

The official SARS tax season opening date has not yet been announced, but it is expected to open around early to mid-July 2026.
