Refund Update for Our Clients! Elite Tax Consultants
Good news! Refunds are now starting to be released from both the IRS and the State of Michigan!
Please remember:
Your refunds come in two separate deposits
• One from the IRS (Federal)
• One from the State of Michigan-or Your local state department for my out of state clients!
If you received an advance, that amount was deducted.
Tax preparation fees and bank fees are also deducted before your refund is released.
If you took out a refund loan, please remember there is interest associated with that loan.
If the amount deposited is not what you were originally quoted, please take a moment to consider:
• You may have received your state refund first
• Fees and/or advances may have been deducted
• The remaining balance will come when your IRS refund funds
Both federal and state refunds are now beginning to fund, so be sure to factor in all deductions when reviewing your deposits.
