HallockShannon PC’s operating hours are be adjusted for the months of July and August to give our staff some much needed recovery time between busy seasons. Happy Tax Season! Beginning Monday, February 3, 2025, our Tunkhannock and Wyalusing locations will observe extended hours, remaining open until 6pm on weekdays and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. These extended operating hours will be in effect until April 15, 2025. We look forward to serving our clients again this year.

HallockShannon, PC is looking for a responsible person who wants to work long term in our Wyalusing office. The position will entail payroll processing, including quarterlies, sales tax reporting, some bookkeeping, and telephone calls during tax season. IR-2023-40, March 7, 2023 — The Internal Revenue Service today issued a renewed warning urging people to carefully review the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) guidelines before trying to claim the credit as promoters continue pushing ineligible people to file.
