Today we celebrate the person who has kept this place going for the past 50+ years….. today she celebrates her 80th birthday. She still works with me everyday which means I’m one of the few business owners that get to experience the joy of working with your parent(s).

Happy 80th Birthday to my mom, Nancy Polacek.

An eye opener..... for some it wipes out their taxable social security for most it's simply another deduction to lower income.... but SPOILER ALERT.... the calculation for tax purposes on your social security income hasn't changed.

When taxpayers owe money to the IRS or New York State they typically send a check or money order for payment.

Did you know that you can also do a direct debit from your bank account on a day of your choosing? It's quicker, reliable, more convenient, and free. Every year we have clients receive notices for non-payment even after sending payment via check. At some point during the process the check either got lost or credited to another taxpayer account. As odd as that seems, it happens.

Consider direct debit for making your payment.
