Our team is happy to support the Humane Society of Carroll County, Inc. annual Woofstock event!

The Humane Society of Carroll County (HSCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to a lifesaving mission through sheltering, adoption, population control, and humane education. Founded in 1945 by a group of concerned citizens, HSCC has served the Carroll County community for nearly 80 years.

In 2026, the Humane Society of Carroll County was designated a no-kill shelter by Best Friends Animal Society based on its 2025 operational statistics. This recognition reflects achieving and sustaining a save rate of 90% or higher, meeting nationally recognized benchmarks for lifesaving, responsible sheltering, and positive outcomes for animals. The designation acknowledges the organization’s commitment to treating every animal as an individual, prioritizing adoption, transfer, and return-to-owner efforts, and using euthanasia only as a last resort for animals with untreatable suffering or severe behavioral concerns.

There’s so much truth here.

Have a plan BEFORE you need a plan!

When a family member suddenly needs care, decisions get made in a rush.

Who moves in with who? Who takes time off work? Who manages the finances? Who coordinates with doctors and facilities? Who carries the weight when everyone else is already stretched?

Those conversations are harder and more expensive when there isn't a plan.

The families who handle these transitions ahead of time with less stress and conflict aren't lucky. They're prepared. Someone had the conversation before a crisis struck.

You can be that person for your family.

A CLTC® professional helps you put a plan in place now, while you're healthy, while options are open, and while there's still time to make thoughtful decisions.

It's one of the most important conversations you'll ever start.
