We were honored to take part in this year’s Boots & Bolo Ties fundraising event, an evening filled with music, storytelling, and generosity. Hall of Fame songwriter Rivers Rutherford gave guests a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration behind his songs, all while supporting an important cause: the fight against childhood cancer.

Through Northwestern Mutual’s partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, the event helped raise critical funds for children and families facing cancer. Here in our local community, that impact also extends to organizations such as Blank Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.

Together, attendees, sponsors, and supporters raised an incredible $56,777 - a testament to what can happen when a community comes together with purpose and heart.

A special thank you to Northwestern Mutual Central Iowa for hosting such a meaningful and inspiring evening.

Our WDMO College Financial Representative, Carter McInville, and Urbandale's CFR, Brayden Weatherly, were rewarded for their outstanding performance and commitment throughout the internship with the opportunity to attend a Kansas City Chiefs Monday Night Football game.

One of the most rewarding parts of our internship is watching talented young professionals set bold goals and achieve them through their hard work, discipline, and consistency. These two have clearly shown this in the way they build their practices, serve clients, and invest in their professional growth. We’re incredibly proud of what Carter and Brayden have accomplished so far, and we're excited to see their continued growth as future leaders within our firm and beyond.
