Our Labor Day plans? Not laboring. 😎

Do you know why we celebrate Labor Day?

The holiday has its roots in the American labor movement of the late 1800s, when many workers faced 12-hour days, seven-day workweeks and some pretty miserable working conditions. EEK!

The first Labor Day celebration was held in New York City on September 5, 1882. And while it’s still disputed exactly who first proposed the holiday, whoever you were — we’d like to thank you. 👏

Our offices will be closed Monday, September 7 in observance of Labor Day. (Thanks again.) 😉
