“Let courage be louder than fear.”

I read this and immediately knew I needed to take this advice.

For months, I’ve been telling myself I need to start going to local Chamber of Commerce events and networking more to get Meticulous Bookkeeping out there and meet other business owners.

I know getting out into my community and actually meeting people is one of the best ways I can grow my business.

But here’s the problem... this is WAY outside my comfort zone.

I’m an introvert in the sense that I’m much more comfortable around people I already know - and even better if I know you well. Walking into a room full of strangers is uncomfortable enough. Knowing I’ll actually have to approach people, introduce myself, and start conversations? 😬

But I also know I can’t let being uncomfortable keep me from doing something that could be really good for me and my business.

So maybe courage doesn’t mean you’re not nervous or scared. Maybe it just means you do it anyway.

Anyone else struggle with this? And if networking comes naturally to you, I’ll gladly take your advice! And if doesn't, how did you get yourself out there?

What would you do with a few extra hours in your week?

Not necessarily more work.

Maybe you'd finally get to that project you've been putting off. Maybe you'd leave the office earlier. Spend time with your family. Go to the gym. Or maybe you'd just enjoy not having “I still need to do the books” floating around in the back of your mind.

That's one of the things I love about outsourcing.

You're not just paying someone to complete a task. You're getting some of your time, and brain space, back.

Your bookkeeping still gets done consistently, your numbers are there when you need them, and it's one less thing waiting for you on your to-do list.

What would you do with that time back?

If bookkeeping is one of the things you'd love to get off your plate, comment “CALL” and I'll send you the link to schedule a free discovery call.

Building a business takes guts. Growing one takes knowing your numbers.

October is National Women’s Small Business Month, and as a woman building my own business, I know firsthand just how much goes into it.

Knowing what’s actually happening with your money gives you something incredibly valuable: the ability to make decisions with confidence.

Where can you invest? What needs to change? What’s actually working?

You’ve put a lot into building your business. Your numbers can help you figure out where to take it next.

If you want to build a financially stronger business, comment “7 WAYS” and I’ll send you my free guide, 7 Ways to Build Financial Strength in Your Business.

Your financial reports aren't very helpful if you can't trust the numbers in them.

That’s why reconciliation is such an important part of monthly bookkeeping - and it goes beyond making sure your checking account matches.

When your accounts are reconciled and your books are accurate, you can actually use your numbers to see how your business is doing, plan ahead, and make decisions without wondering, “But is this actually right?”

That's the real goal of good bookkeeping: financial information you can actually use.
Want to know a few other ways to build a financially stronger business?

When was the last time you actually took time off from your business?

My husband and I are both business owners, and last week we escaped to our camper in Wisconsin for some MUCH needed time away.

When you own a business, it’s really easy to feel like you can’t step away. There’s always something that needs to be done, and when you’re wearing all the hats, who’s going to do it if you don’t?

But everyone deserves time off—even business owners.

So maybe the question is: what could you take off your plate to get some of your time back?

Maybe it’s a few hours a week. Maybe eventually it’s a whole week at the camper.

If getting your finances in better shape is one thing that would help your business feel a little less overwhelming, comment “7 WAYS” and I’ll send you my free guide, 7 Ways to Build Financial Strength in Your Business.

The best investment depends on where your business is now and what will help you reach your next goal.

What would you do with an extra $10K?

And with year-end coming up, remember: spending money just to get a tax deduction doesn’t necessarily make it a smart business decision.

If you’re starting to think about year-end purchases, comment BLOG and I’ll send you the link to my post, "What to Buy (or Not Buy) Before Year End".

As summer winds down, it’s a good time to check in on your books before heading into Q4.

Catch up on anything that’s been missed, follow up on unpaid invoices, take a look at your year-to-date profit and cash flow, and make sure your financial records are organized.

A little cleanup now can make the last few months of the year a whole lot easier - and help you make better decisions going into year end.

If you want a few more tips on how to organize your books, I'll send you a link to my free guide "7 Ways to Build Financial Strength in Your Business" if you DM me or comment "BOOKS".

Even when your bookkeeping lives in the cloud, it’s still a good idea to have a backup plan.

Keeping copies of important reports and financial records gives you an extra layer of protection if something goes wrong with your software, syncing, or account access.

A little extra precaution now can save you a much bigger headache later - and help make sure the financial information you’ve worked hard to keep organized stays protected.

The longer bookkeeping sits on your to-do list, the easier it is for it to keep getting pushed to next week… and then next month.

If your books have fallen behind, you don’t have to spend your limited time trying to sort through months of transactions and reconciliations yourself. I can help you get everything cleaned up, caught up, and back to a place where you can feel confident in your numbers again.

You focus on running your business. I’ll help take the books off your plate.

Ready to get caught up?
