Maryland’s craft-beverage industry has a fresh funding window opening today. 🍺🍷📈

The Maryland Alcohol Manufacturing Promotion Fund opens its Calendar Year 2027 application period today, September 14 at 12 PM, with applications due October 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) nonprofits and state or local government units. Funding can support initiatives that expand Maryland breweries, distilleries and wineries, attract visitors, promote special events, support Maryland-grown ingredients and expand minority ownership and participation in the industry.

That last piece makes this worth circulating among DMV organizations working on entrepreneurship, tourism, agriculture and inclusive economic development.
