Dear God, thank You for this month and for being the kind of God who stays with me through every season. Your word in Psalm 39:7 says, “And now, O Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.” God, I’ve put my hope in things that fade, waiting on people to change or situations to get better, but only You can give me the peace I actually need. Even when I’m tired of waiting, help me keep doing the right thing without seeing the results yet, trusting that the harvest will come at the right time. Teach me to wait with faith instead of fear, and remind me that my hope was never in the outcome, it was always in You. I put this entire month into Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. -Jeremiah 29:11
