We’re excited to share that Bamboo Founder & Financial Planner Jasmine Ray, CFP® will be speaking at VISION 2026: The Wealth Shift — Ownership, Legacy & the Next Era, hosted by the Association of African American Financial Advisors (Quad-A) in Washington, D.C.!

As Oklahoma’s first Black female CFP® professional, opportunities like this carry a little extra meaning. Representation in this profession matters — and so does being in rooms where Black financial professionals come together to learn from one another, build community, and help shape the conversations around wealth, ownership, and legacy.

Jasmine will be speaking on “From Paycheck to Power: Building Wealth Before 30,” a topic that reflects so much of what we believe at Bamboo: wealth-building starts with understanding your options, making intentional decisions, and creating more choices for your future.

We’re proud to have Bamboo represented in the room — and excited for the conversations ahead.

Five years ago, this was just an idea. Today, it’s one of my favorite Bamboo traditions. 💚🎒

For the fifth year, Bamboo Financial Partners had the privilege of partnering with Drexel Academy for our annual Backpack Bash.

This year, we provided backpacks for 100 students as they head into the new school year. It’s a small way for us to invest in the future of our community and support students as they start a new school year with confidence.

A huge thank you to Drexel Academy for allowing us to be part of this day and to everyone who volunteered alongside us to help make it a success.

We can’t wait to do it all again next year. If you’d like to join us, we’d love to have you.

🎒 It wouldn’t be July without our Backpack Bash.

This Thursday, we’ll celebrate our 5th annual Better with Bamboo Backpack Bash, and we’d love for you to join us.

Together, we’ll assemble backpacks filled with school supplies for the students of Drexel Academy so they can start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and supported.

One of my favorite things about this event is how simple it is. Spend just a little over an hour with us, enjoy some pizza, meet some incredible people, and make a real difference for local students before they head back to school.

One of the questions I get most often is:

“Am I too late?”

Too late to start investing.
Too late to save more.
Too late to get organized.
Too late to make better financial decisions.

My answer is almost always the same:

It’s never too late.

Progress doesn’t require perfection—it requires a starting point.

Whether you’re revisiting goals you set in January or just now deciding to take your finances more seriously, don’t let the calendar convince you you’ve missed your chance.

Start with one change. Build the habit. Then build from there.
