We're not just planning for retirement. We're planning for your family's future. I'd love to show you how that can be done.

This month, we're spotlighting Andrea McKeown! Andrea has been part of the Small Wealth Management team for over 14 years and loves building lasting relationships with clients and helping them work toward the future they've envisioned.

One piece of advice she wishes more people understood is that financial planning is about so much more than investing. A comprehensive plan can help guide everything from budgeting and tax strategies to retirement and leaving a legacy for the people you care about most.

Outside of the office, Andrea enjoys spending time with her daughter, finding new outdoor adventures, and watching documentaries—especially if they involve World War II.

Having too much cash sitting on the sidelines in a money market fund might seem like a safe move. But history shows that there’s an opportunity cost to playing it too safe. Simply put, cash has less growth potential and most likely won’t help you reach your long-term goals. Even with periodic market downturns, history shows that markets eventually rebound, recoup their losses, and ultimately move higher — outperforming cash by a wide margin.
