Earn to Learn’s mission is empowering students to achieve their goals and be workforce ready with little to no student debt. We accomplish this mission through an innovative, four-pillar approach to financial preparation for college and the world of work, including:
• Matched Savings Scholarships
• Success Coaching & Near peer Advising
• Financial Capability Education
• Workforce Development

Earn to Learn was established in 2013 to foster upward economic mobility for low-to moderate-income families and diverse populations in Arizona. The model serves to make college financially affordable for students who may not otherwise afford the cost of higher education. Earn to Learn rewards students and families who are committed to saving $500 to attend Pima Community College or Maricopa County Community College District, or plan on transferring to ASU, NAU, UA, with up to $4,000 in matching scholarship funding to pay for unmet need - tuition, books, student housing, transportation, childcare, and other living expenses. Earn to Learn also offers coaching for scholars including personal finance training, resources, and ongoing support - from the very first day of attending college all the way to graduation. We help connect you with other students in our program, navigate post-secondary experience, connect to internships, and graduate workforce ready with little to no college debt. And, if you remain eligible, you can renew your scholarship for additional years!

In Nevada, one in four student loan borrowers is in default. Many of them started college, took on debt, and had to step away before earning their degree.

Last week in Las Vegas, Earn to Learn's Adam Begody joined Congresswoman Susie Lee and UNLV students and leaders to launch a partnership built for those students. Through UNLV's new Destination Degree initiative, Earn to Learn will help former students resolve past-due balances, strengthen their financial footing, and return to the classroom to finish what they started. It is the first partnership of its kind for Earn to Learn.

What UNLV is proving in Nevada, the bipartisan Earn to Learn Act could make possible everywhere. Rep. Lee has reintroduced the bill as its lead sponsor, and it would create an estimated 250,000 scholarships over five years, giving students across the country a way to invest in their education without the burden of new debt.
