You’ve spent years making moves, building a life, and planning for what’s ahead. ♟️

Retirement deserves that same level of intention.

It’s not simply about reaching the finish line. It’s about thinking through your next move and what you want this next stage of life to look like.

Because sometimes the biggest move is deciding you’re ready for what comes next.

Dare to Retire®.

Consider this our official start to spooky season. 🎃👻

We're throwing it back to last year's Fall Boat Cruise, where our team and clients showed up ready for Halloween and absolutely delivered on the costumes.

These photos still make us smile.

Who else is already planning their costume for this year? 🙋

📊 WEEKLY MARKET COMMENTARY | Sept. 27–Oct. 3

It was a week of mixed signals for the markets.

📈 Treasury yields continued to climb, with the 10-year yield briefly moving above 5.3% during the week.

👷 The September jobs report came in weaker than expected, with just 29,000 jobs added compared to 85,000 expected - shifting expectations around the Federal Reserve’s next move.

Despite the weaker employment data, stocks rallied to close out the week.

Swipe through for a look at what moved the markets, what we’re watching, and the numbers behind the week.

Big life changes can come with a mix of excitement, uncertainty, and plenty of questions about what comes next.

Retirement can feel that way, too. After years of working, saving, and preparing, stepping into something new can feel like a pretty big leap.

That’s the idea behind Dare to Retire®.

It’s about looking ahead, understanding your options, and feeling more prepared to take that next step when the time comes.

Because retirement isn’t just about leaving something behind. It’s about daring to imagine what could be ahead.

Waiting to claim Social Security can increase your benefit for a period of time. But that increase doesn't continue indefinitely.

Chris Thomas, Wealth Advisor, explains that some people continue waiting because they're concerned about taxes. While Social Security benefits can be taxable depending on income, delayed retirement credits no longer increase your benefit after age 70.

💡 Knowing the difference can help you better understand the decision in front of you.
