Yesterday was such a special day at Olive Grove.

We celebrated our ribbon cutting with the Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce, followed by our very first Client Appreciation Event. Seeing our office filled with clients, family, friends, flowers, laughter, and so many people who have supported us along the way meant more than we can say.

What made the day even sweeter was realizing that September 29 was also our two-year dating anniversary.

Two years ago, on our first date, we spent the evening putting together a charcuterie board, pairing it with w**e, and getting to know one another. Exactly two years later, we found ourselves married, standing in our own business, putting together charcuterie boards and w**e pairings for our clients. Talk about a full-circle moment. It was one of those sweet winks from God, reminding us how beautifully He works out the details.

We’re so thankful to the Chamber and everyone who came to celebrate with us. A special thank you to my precious friend, Abigail, and Turtle Hills Flower Farm for the beautiful build-your-own bouquet bar and to Sugar and Spice Book Cafe for the amazing coffee and cookies.

Most of all, thank you to our clients for your trust and support. We feel incredibly blessed to serve this community and are so grateful for everyone who has been part of the Olive Grove story. 🌿

Why Olive Grove?

We’ve had several people ask how we came up with the name Olive Grove Wealth Advisors, and we’d love to share the story behind it.

The name was actually chosen by Brett.

He named our firm after me because my name, Olivia, is derived from the word olive, a symbol of peace. But the meaning goes much deeper than that.

Throughout Scripture, the olive tree is a symbol of peace, hope, faithfulness, blessing, and enduring strength. An olive grove represents a place of growth, shelter, and steadfastness - qualities we hope define every relationship we build.

That’s also why you’ll notice olive trees throughout our office, along with artwork inspired by olive branches. Every detail, from the colors and décor to the welcoming atmosphere, was chosen intentionally to create a place where people can slow down, feel at ease, and have meaningful conversations about what matters most.

From the moment you walk through our doors, our prayer is that you feel something different.

We want Olive Grove to be a place where you can take a deep breath, ask questions, feel heard, and leave with greater confidence than when you arrived. Financial decisions can often feel overwhelming, but we believe they don’t have to.

Most importantly, we pray that our office reflects God’s peaceful presence. Our faith is the foundation of who we are, and it shapes the way we serve every individual and family - with integrity, wisdom, compassion, and genuine care.

The name Olive Grove is more than just a business name.

It’s a reminder of the experience we hope every client has: peace, trust, confidence, and the assurance that they’re not walking life’s financial journey alone.

Meet Olivia Strauser

When you walk through the doors at Olive Grove Wealth Advisors, chances are I’ll be the first person to welcome you.

I’m so excited to serve as Director of Client Experience, where my goal is simple: to make every client feel known, valued, and genuinely cared for.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in healthcare, client service, sales, and business development. Whether I was helping patients navigate surgery, coordinating schedules, building relationships, or creating exceptional customer experiences, one thing has always remained the same - I love serving people.

At Olive Grove, I’m passionate about creating an environment where people feel at ease from the moment they arrive. Financial decisions can sometimes feel overwhelming, so my hope is that every client walks through our doors feeling welcomed and leaves feeling encouraged, cared for, and at peace. Whether it’s offering a warm smile, anticipating the little details, or simply taking the time to listen, I believe those moments matter.

Serving others has always been one of my greatest joys, and it’s a privilege to help create an experience that reflects the heart of Olive Grove - one built on kindness, genuine relationships, and treating every person like family.

Brett and I started Olive Grove because we believe financial planning is about so much more than numbers. It’s about walking alongside individuals and families through every season of life with wisdom, integrity, and compassion.

When I’m not at the office, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, playing Word Jumbles with my grandma, playing catch with our Pomeranian, Ricky, trying out a new restaurant, or finding little ways to make our office feel more like home.

Meet Brett Strauser.

At Olive Grove Wealth Advisors, relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and that's exactly how Brett has approached his career.

Born and raised in Sullivan, Brett has always considered this community home. After building a successful career in the financial industry, he felt called to return in 2023 to serve the individuals and families who helped shape him.

Brett brings a unique blend of institutional investment experience and personalized wealth management to his clients. Before becoming a financial advisor, he spent more than a decade on Wall Street analyzing companies, industries, and investment opportunities for some of the nation's most sophisticated investors.

Brett's career spans both Wall Street and Main Street, giving clients the benefit of institutional-level investment analysis combined with the personal attention of an independent advisor. His experience evaluating investments for professional money managers provides a perspective that is uncommon among financial advisors, while his passion is building relationships. Every client has a unique story, different goals, and a different vision for the future. He believes financial planning should never be a one-size-fits-all approach but instead should be built around listening well, earning trust, and creating a personalized strategy that provides confidence and peace of mind.

Clients often describe Brett as thoughtful, dependable, and easy to talk to. They appreciate how he takes the time to understand what matters most before offering guidance. Building lasting relationships based on trust is what makes this work so meaningful to him.

Outside the office, Brett enjoys spending time on the golf course, traveling with Olivia, cheering on Mizzou Athletics, or creating memories with the people who matter most. He's honored to serve the community he has always been proud to call home.
