Be closed this evening due to Melissa being at training.

The office will Reopen tomorrow morning.

Trash day punch cards are available beginning tomorrow.

Be aware of kids standing on the side of the road waiting for buses. Plan ahead and be prepared for buses to make stops.

Slow down and STOP for stopped school buses.

🚌🎒 School is back in session!

As students across Columbia County head back to the classroom, please give yourself a little extra time on the road and keep an eye out for school buses, children at bus stops and students walking or biking to school.

🛑 Remember: When a school bus has its red lights flashing, STOP.

Slow down in school zones, put the phone away and stay alert — especially during morning pickup and afternoon drop-off.

The Stuyvesant Fire District No. 1 and Board of Fire Commissioners are proud to announce our building renovation project is now open to bid.

Sealed bids must be received by the District at the station by 3 PM on October 5, 2026, with the opening to follow that same day.

Today is the day for the 32nd Annual Historic Stuyvesant Day. We are having a community picnic at the Town Hall 1-3pm and the Town will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and beverages -- attendees are asked to bring something to share.

The theme of the day is "Every Road Tells a Story" and there is a vast display of pictures and maps showing how much of Stuyvesant has changed over the years -- and how much hasn't.

Come enjoy the cool air conditioning and see some interesting material.
