We couldn't have done it without you!

We’re thrilled to share that Ark Financial Wellness was named a finalist for the 2026 St. Louis Magazine A-List!

That means for the third year running, we’ve proudly been named among the region’s best businesses, as voted on by community members like you.

We got into this work to help families feel understood and supported when it comes to their money, and none of this happens without the clients who trust us with that. So thank you for the trust, the referrals, and for letting us be part of your story.

We're grateful to keep showing up for you in 2026 and beyond. 💙

Today marks 13 years since Lisa's mom left us too soon.

At just 63, she lost a two-year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Even as her body grew weaker, her love for life and for the family and friends around her never did.

Lisa still feels so grateful for the time she had with her mom, the woman who shaped her work ethic, her love for family, and her ability to see the good in people.

As we start preparing for the holiday season (it’ll be here before you know it), we want to encourage you to remember to pause, take a deep breath, and notice the people in your life.

Hug the ones you love. Keep finding joy, the way Lisa's mom always did. We think that's the best way to honor her. 🤍

Wish Granted
Twenty-one years ago, we said "I do."
A few weeks ago, we found ourselves aboard the Disney Wish with our three kids, surrounded by all the magic, wonder, and reminders that dreams really can come true.
It got me thinking...
The truth is, a great marriage isn't built on wishing. It's built on choosing.
Choosing each other on the easy days and the hard ones.
Choosing grace over keeping score.
Choosing laughter when life gets messy.
Choosing forgiveness when it's deserved... and sometimes even when it isn't.
Choosing to keep growing together, even as life changes around you.
Twenty-one years have brought us three amazing kids, countless memories, a few plot twists we never saw coming, plenty of laughter, and enough inside jokes to fill a lifetime.
Has every day felt magical? Definitely not.
But every year has been worth it.
Happy 21st Anniversary to my favorite adventure partner. Thank you for continuing to choose "us." Here's to many more years of making dreams come true—one ordinary, beautiful day at a time.

One of the best parts of this job is watching what happens once a client finally has a plan in place.

The question changes.
Instead of "what should we do?" it becomes "when do we want to do it?"

They stop worrying about forgetting something important, or not knowing what they don't even know to ask.

They have a plan built around their goals, and someone experienced walking through it with them. We prune back what isn't working and nurture what is, so things keep growing in the right direction as life changes.

They're also not sitting there wondering if they're making the right choices all on their own.

If you're tired of feeling stressed, squeezed, or unsure about money, give us a call. We'd love to help you get there too. 🌱

📸: One of our clients gave us this little money plant as a gift. Full disclosure, we're way better with the financial kind than the leafy kind. But it's still alive, so we're calling that a win.

New backpacks, new schedules, new chapters 🎒 Whether you're sending a little one off to kindergarten or dropping your oldest off at college for the first time, fall has a way of reminding us that change is part of growth. It's true for our kids, and it's true for us as parents too. This season, think about using that "fresh start" energy to reset a few habits — revisiting the budget, checking in on savings goals, maybe finally opening that college fund you’ve been talking about. New routines aren't just for backpacks and lunchboxes. What's one money habit you're resetting this fall?

Here's something we want you to know: reaching out to a financial advisor doesn't mean something's wrong. It doesn't mean you're drowning in stress or facing some huge financial mess.

In fact, many of our clients have already done really well for themselves. They just want someone to look things over and tell them the truth. Are they on track? Is there anything they're missing?

Maybe you already know a plan matters, but you're not sure where to even start. That's totally normal, and it's exactly why we're here 💜

Wherever you are, we're not going to judge how you got there. Our job is simple: tell you what's working, and help you find what could work better.

So you shouldn't have to guess whether you're making the right call. We can walk through it together.

If you have questions, we'd love to hear them. Reach out and let's find some time to chat. 💬

If your tooth cracked, would you try to fix it yourself?

You’d probably call the dentist.
That's just what you’re supposed to do.

But when it comes to money, so many of us think we're supposed to handle that part on our own. We try to figure out the accounts, the taxes, when to pull money out, and from where. And a lot of the time, it just feels like we're winging it.

Here's a story that happened with one of our clients.

She wanted to take money out of her IRA to pay off her mortgage, which sounds like a great plan.
Less debt, one less bill every month…who wouldn't want that?😉

But she was on a marketplace health insurance plan. And pulling money from an IRA counts as income. So, that withdrawal would have bumped her premiums up so much, it would've wiped out everything she saved by dropping the mortgage payment.

She almost didn't think to ask first.

This is exactly why we don't just look at one account or one request in isolation. Everything in your financial life is connected, even the stuff that doesn't seem like it has anything to do with each other.

Figuring out what is best for our clients is the part of the job that we love the most. ❤️

Happy National Son and Daughter Day! Isabel and I could not be more proud of the young men and women that our children are becoming! As busy working moms, we appreciate all that our children provide us…and all they challenge us with. Everything they teach us only helps in our journey as parents, and as financial advisors walking along the same path as our clients.

Every conversation we have with clients about saving and investing (time and money) into our children, comes back to the same thing: wanting something better and more secure for the next generation, while also embracing today and the precious time we have with them, especially in those first 18 years:)

You spend the majority of your waking hours working and earning for your family.

So a job change is never really just about the paycheck, it ripples into everything else. A client came to us recently facing that exact decision.

He was questioning whether moving to a new company was the right choice.

1. We looked through the offer letter together, as well as the future salary benchmarks based on his experience and background.

2. We pulled up his current employer’s benefits catalog to chat about what “better benefits” actually looks like.

3. Finally, we walked through his goals, career outlook, and desire to work with a company that aligns better with his values and expertise.

The whole idea of “wealth management” tends to center around investments.
But there’s more to it than that.

🧩Your career is a huge piece of your financial puzzle!🧩

We’re always here to help you work through these big decisions.

One of our clients asked us to review some annuity policies her parents owned.

She wasn't sure how they worked or what would happen to them once her parents passed. Would the funds come to her? Someone else in the family? Could they disappear altogether? She was also worried about tax surprises down the road.

We took a closer look together, and by the end of our meeting she had a much better handle on what was going on and what needed updating.

Even though her parents aren't our clients, their plans have a direct impact on her financial world.
Estate plans can be confusing. That's exactly what we're here for. 💙
