They offer safe, client-centered care through pregnancy, birth, and beyond, all on a sliding scale so care stays accessible for everyone.

Congratulations to our Summer 2026 interns!

This week Shannon, Matthew, Teagan and Tyler wrapped up their internships at T. Mann Financial with capstone presentations. Each of them took on a real project, built it from the ground up, and showed the before and after of their work. I'm proud of what they accomplished.

Here's a look at their capstone projects:

Shannon built an AI exposure analysis tool, a structured, research-driven method for evaluating how exposed a portfolio's holdings are to artificial intelligence. Her work stood out for its discipline: every claim traced back to a primary source.

Matthew built an internal tool that calculates the cost of synthetic box loans constructed with derivative contracts. He took a complex topic, broke down the mechanics, and turned it into something practical our firm can use.

Teagan built out our community partnerships marketing program, connecting T. Mann Financial with local organizations here in the Eugene-Springfield area. She approached it with creativity and a genuine focus on community.

Tyler took on the widest scope of anyone on the team, working through a long list of questions and challenges across the firm, and he delivered on them. His work included making our website faster and more accessible so it works better for every visitor.

Thank you to all four of you for your hard work, curiosity, and professionalism this summer. I can't wait to see what you do next.

Matt is a third-year student at the University of Oregon studying Finance and Economics. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, he has a strong interest in financial and economic modeling, particularly in areas such as risk management, optimization, and statistical analysis.

During his internship, Matt will explore practical ways to implement artificial intelligence in financial projects, business processes, and decision-making. He is especially interested in learning how different AI tools and programming languages can be applied effectively in a rapidly changing professional environment.

We are excited to have Matt bring his analytical perspective and enthusiasm for finance and technology to the team.

Tyler is studying Computer Science and Data Science at the University of Oregon. He is also a member of the Oregon Quant Group, where he continues developing his analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

During his internship, Tyler will explore practical ways to implement artificial intelligence to improve client service, business processes, and financial planning operations. We are excited to have him contribute his technical perspective while gaining hands-on experience with real-world projects.

Outside of academics, Tyler enjoys running, watching movies, and following sports.
