Mr. Earle explained write-offs on Alix Earle podcast, and we had notes.

Here’s the version we give our clients 👇

→ A write-off is a business expense that lowers your taxable income. It’s not a coupon, and it’s not free money.
→ It has to be ordinary and necessary for your business. “I own a business” isn’t the test.
→ If it’s part personal, only the business part counts.
→ No receipt, no record, no deduction.
Write off everything you’re entitled to. Just be able to back it up.

Last night we traded spreadsheets for a good cause and attended Vested’s Fête en Rouge 🍷✨

A night built by female entrepreneurs, for female entrepreneurs — 100% of proceeds from the silent auction went straight to Women Helping Women Fund.

We loved connecting with new business owners and catching up with some familiar faces (hi to our clients who were there!).

Nights like this are exactly why we love being part of this community!
