Financial Myth: "I need to pay off all my debt before I can start investing."
I understand why many people believe this. Debt can feel overwhelming, and it makes sense to want it gone as quickly as possible.
But financial planning isn't always black and white.
For many families, the best path forward is finding the right balance between reducing debt and preparing for the future at the same time.
Building wealth isn't about being perfect.
It's about making steady progress.
Sometimes that means paying down debt. Sometimes that means investing. Often it means doing a little of both.
The goal is not knowing all the answers today.
The goal is having a plan that helps you move forward with confidence.
