We've all seen them in our feeds.
A family loses a spouse or a parent, and within a few days there's a GoFundMe page asking friends and neighbors to help with the mortgage, the bills, the funeral. And people show up. They share it, they give what they can. It's one of the best things about a community.
Every time I see one, I stop. Those are real families going through the worst thing that can happen to them, and none of it is anyone's fault.
But it also stays with me, because I know there's something that exists specifically for that moment. Life insurance doesn't make the loss any smaller. What it can do is take money off the list of things a grieving family has to worry about.
A lot of people I talk to either don't have coverage, have only what came with their job, or bought a policy years ago and haven't looked at it since. Kids, a house, and a career have usually happened in between.
If you've been meaning to look at this and haven't, I'm happy to help. No pressure and no pitch. Just a conversation about what you have, what your family would actually need, and whether there's a gap.
Send me a message, or pass this along to someone who's been putting it off.
