🚨 THIS IS WHY EVICTIONS NO MORE IS NEEDED.

I want you to really look at this number.

Approximately 144,000 eviction filings in Metro Atlanta.

Not across the entire country.

Right here in our own backyard.

And behind every filing is a real situation.

A mother.
A father.
A veteran.
A senior.
A family.
Someone whose income changed.
Someone who fell behind.
Someone who may have received paperwork and had absolutely NO IDEA what to do next.

And here's something else we have to understand:

An eviction filing doesn't always mean someone ultimately loses their home.

Sometimes there is still an opportunity to respond, seek assistance, understand available options, connect with resources or develop a plan.

But people can't take advantage of resources they don't know exist.

And THAT is one of the reasons I created Evictions No More.

🏠 Not simply to talk about eviction.

🏠 Not simply to give somebody a list of apartments.

🏠 Not simply to hand someone another list of phone numbers and wish them luck.

I want to help people understand where they are, identify what is standing between them and stable housing, connect them with resources, and create an actionable path forward.

Because the housing crisis doesn't end when someone leaves the courtroom.

What happens when they need another apartment?

What happens when the eviction filing follows them?

What happens when there's a past-due landlord balance?

What happens when their credit has taken a hit?

What happens when they keep paying application fees and STILL can't get approved?

Those questions matter too.

This article isn't just another headline to me.

It's confirmation that the work is necessary.

And while Evictions No More won't solve a housing crisis this large by itself, we're building something designed to help people navigate it differently.

Something is coming.

And now you understand a little more about WHY. ❤️🏠

🏠 “I KEEP GETTING DENIED.”

That’s a sentence I want Evictions No More to help fewer people have to say.

Sometimes finding an apartment isn’t the problem.

Getting APPROVED is.

Past evictions.
Landlord debt.
Credit challenges.
Rental history.
Income requirements.
Application after application.
Fee after fee.

Eventually people stop asking, “Where can I live?”

And start asking:

“WHAT IS KEEPING ME FROM GETTING APPROVED?”

That is a completely different question.

And sometimes identifying the barrier is the beginning of changing the outcome.

Evictions No More is coming.

We’re not just talking about finding housing.

We’re talking about becoming HOUSING READY. 🔑

🏠 SOMETHING IS COMING.

For a long time, I’ve watched people struggle with housing not because they don’t want better, but because sometimes they simply don’t know where to start. I have been there… done that!

An eviction.
A past-due balance.
Bad credit.
A rental denial.
A housing crisis that happened years ago but STILL follows you.

And too many people are trying to figure it all out by themselves.

I believe there should be a better way.

That’s why I’ve been quietly building something.

Something designed to help people move from housing barriers toward housing stability.

Evictions No More is coming. ❤️🏠

And this is bigger than I originally imagined.

AN EVICTION DOESN’T JUST AFFECT YOUR NEXT RENTAL—IT CAN DELAY HOMEOWNERSHIP TOO! 🏡

An eviction filing, broken lease, or unpaid landlord balance can remain on tenant-screening reports and make it difficult to secure safe, stable housing. If landlord debt is sent to collections, it may also damage your credit and affect your ability to qualify for a mortgage.

These records can lead to:

• Rental application denials
• Higher deposits or co-signer requirements
• Lower credit scores
• Collection accounts
• Less favorable mortgage terms
• Delayed homeownership

At Evictions No More, we help clients review their rental history, identify inaccurate or disputable information, address landlord debt, and pursue removal.

Getting an eviction addressed is not only about qualifying for another rental—it can be the first step toward repairing your financial profile and preparing to purchase a home.

Don’t allow an old eviction or landlord debt to keep closing doors on your future.

📩 Send us a direct message today to schedule your consultation and learn how Evictions No More can help you move from housing barriers to housing stability.

🚨🚨🚨 DCA Emergency Housing Voucher Program to End June 30, 2026
Atlanta, GA. (January 16, 2026) – The Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) announced today that the Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) program will end on June 30, 2026. Emergency Housing Vouchers are special vouchers established under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). DCA is one of more than 600 Public Housing Authorities across the nation that administer the EHV program.

HUD announced the final funding allocation for the EHV program in March 2025. DCA’s allocation funds Housing Assistance Payments (HAPs) for EHV though June 30, 2026. However, effective July 1, 2026, HAPs will stop, and the HAP contract between the landlord and DCA will terminate. Any ongoing relationship between the landlord and tenant (i.e. lease or tenancy agreement) will not involve DCA.

The Emergency Housing Voucher program is the only program impacted. DCA’s regular Housing Choice Voucher program and other special voucher programs are not affected by these changes.

🚨 What This Means for Participants

• The Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) program will end June 30, 2026.
• After July 1, 2026, DCA will stop paying rent (Housing Assistance Payments).
• The contract between DCA and the landlord will end.
• If tenants remain in the unit, the lease becomes a private agreement between the tenant and landlord unless another housing program is secured.
• Regular Section 8 / Housing Choice Vouchers are NOT affected.
📌 Participants should immediately: • Contact their housing case worker.
• Ask if they can transfer to a regular Housing Choice Voucher waiting list.
• Begin looking for alternative housing or assistance programs now.

Because she listened to someone who couldn’t help her but gave her advice to not work with a company who could help give her time to pay her rent…… she came home to the sheriff putting her items outside. This was heartbreaking. Don’t let that be your story
