Subject: Urgent Filing Requirement for Corporations and LLCs

Dear Business Owners,

A new federal filing requirement for Corporations and LLCs is due by December 31, 2024. This is the Beneficial Ownership Information Report (BOIR), which must be submitted to the Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

This filing is time-sensitive—failure to submit by the deadline may result in a $500 daily penalty. We recommend addressing this immediately to avoid fines. We can handle the filing for you, or you can file directly at https://boiefiling.fincen.gov/.

What Are These New Requirements?

The BOIR stems from the Corporate Transparency Act, enacted by Congress in 2021. This law mandates increased transparency to combat financial crimes, such as money laundering, by requiring businesses to report beneficial ownership information.

If you’d like us to file for you:

1. Provide a copy of the driver’s license for any business owner with 25% or more ownership.

2. Confirm that the business and ownership addresses are up to date.

3. Our filing fee is $135 per business.

Please contact us via email or call the office at (805) 527-0812 to get started.

Let’s ensure your business complies with this important requirement!

Best regards,
