It was truly an honor representing the HJW team at the SCCF Award Ceremony tonight in Shelbyville KY, along with our Executive Director. Anthony Leachman.
We are grateful to the SCCF for their commitment to support local nonprofit organizations in the community. The resources provided assist us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve by providing financial education to marginalized communities.
Thank you Shelby County Community foundation and Community Foundation of Louisville for supporting our mission.

Please join me in congratulating Ms. Ericka Bond on her amazing accomplishment. It was truly an honor to recognize Ericka Bond owner of Elevate by Ericka, as our 2026 Destined for Greatness Business Development Awardee. Her hard work and dedication are definitely being recognized.
The HJW DFG Program was the last initiative started by my sister, the late Yolanda Bradford. Yolanda understood the hard work and dedication required to be a successful business woman and she wanted to reach back and help others achieve their dream. I am so grateful to see this being fulfilled as the Lord allows us to bless other well deserving businesses, such as Elevate by Ericka.
Thank you to our private donor that made this award possible.
For those of you that need help with your wardrobe, be sure to contact Ericka. She is a joy to work with and very professional! Who’s ready to be Elevated by Ericka? 💜🦋💜🦋

We had the honor of having Donna Bumper, from MSK2 Consulting as our Keynote speaker this year and the information was so impactful.
She provided foundational guidelines on Back Office management to assist our small businesses.

What a time of Celebration at our Fourth Annual AYS/HJW Fundraising Event!
It was an honor to celebrate 20 years of service to our community as we uplifted, educated and empowered other small businesses to do the same.
