Growing up in Cuba taught Luis Perez-Trueba how to think creatively, stay calm under pressure, and approach challenges with perspective and positivity. These are qualities he brings not only to life, but in everything he does here at Burgess.​

As one of our architectural designers, Luis supports projects through drafting, 3D modeling, renderings, and laser scanning technology. He loves the balance of art and science that architecture offers and enjoys helping bring thoughtful spaces to life, including the recent Southport rooftop renderings.​
​
Known by teammates for his fun, kind, and easygoing personality, Luis brings both creativity and heart and always delivers with a smile.

In preparation for a huge Hawks weekend we hosted our 2nd Annual BURGESS Bowl!

Touchdowns were scored with bold flavors, creative dips, and some very serious taste-testing.

Just in time for fresh starts, we’re excited to unveil the newly renovated Summit Fitness Center designed to support wellness and momentum in the year ahead.

Centered on calming blue tones, we created a flexible, welcoming environment that supports a wide range of fitness activities while elevating the overall tenant experience.

Through thoughtful planning, durable materials, and a clean, modern aesthetic, this project supports daily well-being and reflects a collaboration we’re proud to be part of as we start the new year!

For their new Bellevue office, we helped bring their vision of a flexible work environment to life. Through thoughtful collaboration, we created a functional, employee-focused space that balances practicality with mindful details, reflecting their long history and values as a General Contractor. Collaboratively, we chose brick elements and referencing their origins as a brick masonry while also incorporating timber as one of Swinerton’s specialties.

Thank you to for recognizing our exterior renovation project for a confidential client as a finalist for this year’s Night of the Stars.

For this project, our team worked closely with the client to renovate the exterior of a newly purchased building in Kirkland, WA and turn it into a chic and modern office worthy of being dubbed as their new U.S. headquarters. Our team’s goal was to not only refresh the exterior of a dated brick building, but to reflect their brand and incorporate elements that aligned with company values.

We’d like to also thank our partners and for their contributions to the success of this project.

We are thrilled to announce our Swinerton Builders project has been nominated for Night of the Stars.

Our client’s rich company history was a unique focal point for this project, and we sought to help them realize their vision by introducing a sense of timelessness into their new Bellevue office. Through collaborative sessions, we created a warm, welcoming work environment that not only supported the individual working styles of their staff, but also showcased their work as General Contractors and the company’s long-standing history.
